Installed in 2017, this Lakewood home got a major makeover. What once was just lawn is now an oasis of lush and vibrant gardens. The features of this garden include a stone border, ornamental trees, and lots of color — from the variety of contrasting evergreens to the annual flowers. Anchoring the back corner of the garden is a trio of pots, set in a white rock, that acts as a focal point amongst the surrounding green. We were also faced with a decision to remove a dying, non-native tree during this installation; we went forward with the removal and replaced it with a native redbud and native Mexican plum — both providing future tree cover and gorgeous blooms in early Spring.
